What is Hypnosis – I’ve heard many definitions over the years and the best definition I’ve used to describe hypnosis is:
A focused state of awareness where your subconscious mind is receiving suggestions from either yourself (self-hypnosis) or suggestions from another person (usually a Hypnotist).
